The roof had been re-slated using reclaimed slates and slated poorly from the start, we were told that it had been leaking for 32 years. Numerous attempts to stop the leaking over the years to stem the water ingress were unsuccessful.
We were contacted for a consultation and advised the client to strip this flank in its entirety. The slates used are Cupa H3's Spanish slate which carry a 100 year warranty. Due to Tigh Mor being in a severe exposure zone the roof has been slated with the latest British Standard recommendations, as such the roof has an increased headlap. |
